Fed by the Colorado and Concho Rivers and  many other area creeks,  O.H. Ivie Lake is located about 16.5  miles southeast of Ballinger. The lake covers about 19,200 acres.

Common fish species include: largemouth, smallmouth, and white bass, sunfish, white and black crappie, and channel, blue and flathead catfish.
