Located about 13.7 miles northeast of Seymour and 28 miles southeast of Vernon, Lake Kemp reservoir is approximately 16,540 acres and is fed by the Wichita River.

Fish species of interest to sport fisherman include: largemouth bass, striped bass, white bass, spotted bass, white crappie, channel catfish, blue catfish.
