Located about 5 miles north of Brownwood and 17 miles east of Coleman, Brownwood Reservoir covers approximately 7300 acres and is fed by the Jim Ned Creek and the Pecan Bayou. Fish species of interest to sport fisherman include: largemouth bass, white crappie, hybrid striped bass, white bass, freshwater drum, channel catfish, flathead catfish. |
